Built by one person, for real commuters

ST Tracker is not a company product. It is a side project, live since August 2026, built because finding a Gujarat ST bus meant calling the depot, guessing from memory, or standing at a stand hoping. It reads the same live position data GSRTC's own systems publish and shows it in a form built for someone waiting at a stop — not for an operations desk.

It is not the official GSRTC app and never claims to be — that distinction matters enough to repeat here, not just bury in a footer. What it is: a maintained, actively updated tracker covering all 8,554 registered ST buses and 19,026 stations across Gujarat, run without accounts, without a paywall, and without selling anything to anyone.

Not the operator's app. A better window into it.

ST Tracker is an independent website that reads the same live GSRTC data and shows it in a form built for someone standing at a stop, not for an operations desk.

Instead of calling the depot

No hold music, no guessing whether the person on the phone can see the bus either. Type the plate and the position is on the map in seconds.

Instead of asking at the stand

"It usually comes around now" is not an ETA. This is the bus's actual GPS position against the actual timetable.

Nothing to install to try it

Open tracker.shivrajsinh.in in any browser. Add it to your home screen afterwards if it earns the spot — most people do, but nothing here asks first.

Everything a commuter actually needs

Not a timetable board. A live picture of where your bus is right now.

Live location by number plate

Enter the plate written on the bus. You get its position on the map, the stop it just passed, the one it is heading to, its speed, and how far it is from you.

The whole route, stop by stop

See every stop on the line with the time the bus actually reached each one, which stops are behind it, and which are still ahead.

Timetables between any two stations

Search Ahmedabad to Rajkot, Rajkot to Morbi, or any pair of the 19,026 stations. Filter by service type, sort by departure or journey time, and see buses that have already left in case you are boarding further along.

Alerts before it reaches you

Pick the stop you are waiting at. Your phone tells you when the bus is close, so you can stay inside until it is worth walking out.

How full the bus is

Riders report whether there are seats, whether people are standing, and whether a bus never came or was replaced. You see it on the departure list before you choose which one to wait for.

Works when the signal does not

Install it to your home screen and it opens full screen, starts instantly, and still shows the last position it knew when you go through a dead patch.

Questions people ask

Is this the official GSRTC app?

No. ST Tracker is an independent tool built for Gujarat ST commuters. It shows the same live bus positions the operator publishes, in a form that is quicker to read at a bus stop. It is not affiliated with GSRTC.

How accurate is the live location?

Positions come from the GPS unit on the bus itself, refreshed every few seconds while the bus is on a trip. Arrival estimates are worked out from that position against the timetable, and the app stays silent rather than showing a number it cannot support.

Why can I not find my bus?

The operator only reports a position while a bus is actually running a trip. A bus parked at the depot, or one that finished its run, will not appear until it sets off again.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. Open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It then runs full screen like an installed app. Arrival notifications on iPhone need it installed to the home screen first.

Is it free?

Yes, and there are no adverts, no subscription and no account. It is run as a public utility for Gujarat commuters.

Is it available in Gujarati?

Yes. The whole app and this page are available in Gujarati, including station and route names where the operator provides them.
